For Data & Other Products
Applies to data products such as data-sets, subscriotions and also, certificates, trophies, and physical items.
All subscriptions must be paid via credit card. This includes Silver and Platinum city package subscriptions.
All other data products on this site are pre-ordered and must be paid for prior to ordering via credit card (Amex, Visa, or Mastercard) for any amount under currently USD $12,000. Ordering on this site will be be completed by credit card when you check out or via phone order.
All data products come with a 30 day guarantee period from receipt of the last file. This means for 30 days from receipt of the files, you can request our analysts to correct any errors or omissions in the files.
For a subscription, this 30 days applies for each major data file sent. However, note that a fair use policy applies, and questions must be sent in batches, as per the policy.
After 30 days, if you have a suggested improvement to our data, please provide feedback, and if we accept your suggestion we may send you some goodies!
Knowledge products are not able to be returned, as once shipped the knowledge has been provided to you. Knowledge, Data and digital products cannot be refunded for any reason.
We do not refund incorrect purchases, or purchases merely because you changed your mind.
However, we do fix our mistakes, as occasional as they are. So here's our other policies:
Very occasionally we make a mistake. Please take a photo/proof of the incorrect product, and email us firstname.lastname@example.org and we should be able to come up with a way to ship a replacement in 3-4 weeks.
Damaged Goods Policy
For damaged goods (eg, city trophies), take a photo of the broken item, email us email@example.com and we will ship a replacement in 3-4 weeks.
This applies to printed or customised items such as trophies.
If you believe we messed up, and you need to return an item simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button.
We'll notify you via e-mail with queries before we approve any refund. Refunds are conditional on return of the item, and a good reason! We reserve all rights.
Visits & Training
Note where specified that a visit or training will occur at client premises there is zero cost to the client. Dates are mutually agreed.
We ship physical products to virtually any address in the world.
Note that there are currently restrictions on data/analysis products for the following countries:
China (PRC), Taiwan, Macau, North Korea.
Note that any city in a country undergoing regional conflict at current (ie. war) may not be eligible to receive data due to the disruption of war to data stability. This is considered case-by-case basis.
And we do reserve all rights, including the right to refuse an order. If your order is refused, you will be credited any amounts deducted in full, and notified via email.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Many products have free shipping.
Electronic shipping for data is via email, and is free.
Please also note that the shipping rates for a few items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kg.
